BANGI, 17 Mac – The Seventeenth Residential College had organised an annual dinner, Malam Kilauan Berjasa (MAKJASA XII) located at Bangi-Putrajaya Hotel. This event proposed to celebrate and appreciate our final year students since this is the last year they will be staying in the college before graduate. This event was attended by YBHg. Datin Sri Paduka Dato’ Dr. Aini Ideris as Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia, YBHg. Prof. Dr. Mohd Roslan bin Sulaiman, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia, Yang Dihormati Deans of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and Faculty of Veterinary, YBHg. Prof . Dr. Daud Ahmad bin Israf Ali, Principal of Seventeenth Residential College, Fellow Principals of Residential College, Staffs of Universiti Putra Malaysia, and the most cherish final year students of Seventeenth Residential College.

This night was officiated by YBHg. Datin Sri Paduka Dato’ Dr. Aini Ideris. This night started with a great performance from The Avant Garde group as the opening of this memorable night. With the tagline of “Immerse Yourself In Mystery”, this night also brought the theme of “Masquerade Prom Night” where all the honourable guests were suggested to wear dresses, long suits and the masquerade mask. The theme was chosen to highlighted the feeling of mystery as the guest will predict who is the person behind the mask.

This night was enlighten with few great performances such as flute and saxophone performance from two of our students from Medicine and Veterinary courses. The most awaited moment for the night was the award ceremony session. The award goes to students who have greatly contributed to the college along the 4 to 5 years of staying in the college.

Outstanding Contribution Award – Nurfazira Binti Ruslan

Special Principal Award – Khairul Anuar Bin Ahmad Erawan

Kilauan Berjasa Award – Muhammad Firdhaus Bin Shaharudin

Congratulations to all the winners of award and a big congratulate to all final year students of Seventeenth Residential College on the devotion and commitment that had been contributed along the stay in this college. Good luck and embrace your future.
